The aim of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) accredited one day certificate course is to give an introduction to the world of wine. You’ll explore the main types and styles of wine through sight, smell, and taste, while also gaining the basic skills to describe wines accurately, and make food and wine pairings. This is followed by a short exam of 30 multiple choice questions.
The courses will be taken by WSET Certified Educator & Approved Programme Provider Peter Morris Wilson DipWSET. Peter received global recognition by being one of only 8 shortlisted for “WSET Educator of the Year 2015”.
The course takes place in a Direct Wine Shipments tasting room between 10am – 6pm and will include theory, tasting and the WSET exam.
WSET Level 1 costs £145 per student (this includes a £60 non refundable deposit if you cancel within 2 weeks of the course)
