In order to protect our customers and staff at this difficult time, we are postponing all spring events and WSET courses.
We have tried to contact everyone who has booked tickets for these events. If you haven’t heard from us and have tickets for one of our tastings or courses please phone us 028 90508000 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for information.
Currently our shop is open as usual for wine purchases and we can also take orders for delivery.
You can order online www.directwineshipments.com or by phoning 02890 508000.
In order to protect our customers and staff at this difficult time, we have taken the decision to postpone next week’s Wine & Cheese Tasting. We will be in touch with anyone who has booked tickets over the next couple of days.
We would like to reassure all our customers that we are following W.H.O. advice and maintaining high hygiene standards.
Thank you for your support at this time. #supportlocal

It’s with great sadness we have to announce the passing of Kevin McAlindon on Thursday 30th January 2020.
Kevin was a towering figure in Northern Ireland’s wine world and his enthusiasm and canny business acumen brought many wonderful wines to this part of Ireland.
He will be sorely missed by his wife Carol, his kids Caroline, Peter, Neal and Laura, his wonderful grand kids and all the DWS staff past and present.
For those who knew Kevin they’ll remember a man with a real sense of fun. Kevin loved to laugh and as well as his passion for wine he truly loved music and was a keen piano player right up until the end.
We’ll all salute him with a glass of Creu Celta tonight. 🍷
A service celebrating the life of Kevin McAlindon will be held on Monday 17th February at 10am in the Good Shepherd Church, Ormeau Road. Followed by committal in Roselawn Cemetery at 12 noon.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Carol, by his children Caroline, Peter, Neal and Laura, his daughter in law Maureen, his grandchildren Natalie, Luke, Ben, Joe, Rory, Lucy, Ruby, Jude, Noah and Ruben and his Direct Wine Shipments family.
