TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All wines and spirits are offered subject to availability and remain the property of DWS until payment is received in full.

By placing an order through our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.

DWS is a UK company and any dispute or claims that arise from using this Website must be made and settled under UK law.

In the unlikely event that we have run out of an item on your order, we will endeavour to contact you to arrange a replacement. However, at peak times of the year, we do reserve the right to replace out of stock items with another of equal or greater value.

We make every effort to ensure that the information on this website is accurate and current; however, DWS provides this web site and its contents on an “as is” basis and it makes no (and expressly disclaim all) representations or warranties of any kind with respect to this website and its contents. DWS also reserves the right to change price and availability information without notice.

PRICES

Prices are quoted in £ Sterling and include duty, and VAT at standard UK rate.

PAYMENTS

We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard and Debit Card. Payment can be accepted either online (via SSL secure encrypted payment system) or phone.

AVAILABILITY

We will endeavour to supply all wines shown in mixed case selections. If for any reason we are unable to supply a certain wine from a mixed case we will substitute with a wine of similar style and of equal or greater value. The case price will remain the same.

We will endeavour to supply the vintage of the wine shown on the website, however we cannot guarantee this, as vintages may change in store before they can be updated on the website.

DELIVERY CHARGES

We offer FREE delivery (for mixed cases of twelve bottles or more) throughout Northern Ireland.

Smaller parcels will incur a £6.95 delivery charge.

UK mainland standard delivery £19.99 or £25 for next working day delivery.

For next working day delivery all orders must be placed by 1pm.

For other deliveries please email us with your requirements for a quotation.

DELIVERY

Wines will be delivered between 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday (except Public Holidays).

Please allow 5 working days for delivery. For next working day delivery all orders must be placed by 1pm.

Please fill in the “Delivery Instructions” section to let us know where the wine is to be left if you are out or if you require delivery after a specific date.

We cannot guarantee a specific delivery date or time.

Alternatively, you can select COLLECT in store.
You will receive notification when you purchase has been processed and is ready for collection.

Our opening hours are:

Monday – Wednesday: 9.30am – 6pm

Thursday: 9.30am – 8pm

Friday: 9.30am – 7pm

Saturday: 9.30am – 5.30pm

Sunday: Closed (Except the first three Sundays in December – Open 1pm-5pm)

Holiday’s – We are closed New Year’s Day, St Patrick’s Day, Easter Monday & Tuesday, May Day, 12th July, Christmas Day & Boxing Day.

RETURNS

Damaged Goods

Should a wine be damaged in delivery we will gladly offer a replacement. Notification can be by telephone 0289050800 , post, or email info@directwine.co.uk within three working days of delivery.

Incorrect Goods Delivered

In the unlikely event of this happening we offer a refund or replacement of the incorrect goods, on return of the bottle(s) in question.

Notification must be given to us within 3 working days of delivery.

GIFT VOUCHERS

DWS Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged in return for monies, only against DWS products and services.

Vouchers will expire 1 year after purchase.

Please allow one working day for completion of your online order.

PUBLIC TASTINGS & WINE COURSES

Tickets are non-refundable; however, they can be exchanged for an alternative tasting. Direct Wine Shipments staff must be informed of cancellation at least 48 hours before the event.

DWS will issue a credit note which can be redeemed within a six-month period
