We are thrilled to welcome the outstanding wines from Ascheri to our list.
Based in the Piedmont town of Bra, Matteo Ascheri is the 6th generation of his family to produce wine. From 3 wineries, the wines produced are Barolo, Nebbiolo, Barbera d’Alba, Dolcetto d’Alba, Arneis & Gavi. The vineyards are sustainable with the focus being on producing wines that reflect the best of the grapes and vineyard.
“Wine is becoming more uniform the world over, as producers plant the same grapes, employ the same technologies, the same additives, the same barrels for aging and especially use the same wine makers. My aim is to make a distinctive wine which expresses its vineyard site, the grape varieties used and in particular, my own ideas about how it should be made.” Matteo Ascheri
