100% Pinot Noir
The vineyards of Volnay lie between Pommard to the north and Meursault to the south. It produces only red wine.
Hand harvested and sorted. The wines are aged for about 9 months in oak.
Bright and luminous, the wine has notes of violets and blackcurrent buds when young, which develop into candied fruits, mushrooms and sweet spice as it ages.
The palate is round and velvety, with fine tannins and refreshing acidity. The finish shows candied fruit and vanilla. Beautiful.
