Garganega 85%, Chardonnay 15%. Aged on the lees for 1 month. Straw yellow with a tinge of green. Parfumes of ripe golden apple and apricot with sweet notes of flowers. Balanced on the palate, with an almond aftertaste which is characteristic of the Garganega variety.
This Soave pairs well with light antipasti, delicate dishes such as tagliolini with shrimp or seafood risotto as well as fish entrées such as seabass and crab.
“WINNER. Bright and clear, with a straw-yellow colour. The aroma hints at mineral notes with wild flowers. The flavour is based on notes of equilibrium, harmony and freshness, while the finish brings in a perfect blend of sweetness and acidity.”(Verona Wine Top 2013)
“86/100. 85% Garganega and 15% Chardonnay. Etched mineral tones are followed by softer expressions of stone fruit and sweet citrus. The Chardonnay adds slightly more heft to the finish making this a good choice for sea bream cooked with fennel and oranges.” (eRobertParker.com)
