We are delighted to introduce wines from Weingut Hörner to our portfolio.

The Hörner family are based in Pfalz, Germany and have been involved in viticulture for several generations, but started selling wines a quarter of a century ago. The winery is run by father & son Reinhold & Thomas Hörner. Thomas trained as a winemaker in Germany, Burgundy & Austria. The focus is on vineyard sustainability and no herbicides or insecticides are used. For the wines the focus is on quality, freshness, drier styles and moderate alcohol.

The eye-catching labels are a fun play on the family name, using the horns of different animals to represent the winery’s quality levels.  Hörner won a 2016 German Design Award for corporate identity, excellent communications in design and packaging.

Thomas Hörner was selected in 2016 by Drinks Business as one of the German winemakers to watch.

The Horny Rosé was chosen as one of “Germany’s Coolest Wines” (German Wine Institute 2018)

“Again, all wines from Thommy Hörner are very clear in expression, very pure and perfectly done.” Eidelmann 2021
