Joseph Puig a multi-talented man who lists among his many accomplishments the invention of the two-tiered corkscrew!
He is the 4th generation of his family in the viticultural world, now in his 70’s and still feels too young to give up his passion for wine! He has recently used this energy to expand with three new undertakings – in D.O. Montsant, D.O Terra Alta and in D.O.C. Rioja.
José’s daughter Sylvia Puig is an enologist who trained at the legendary Vega Sicilia and is in charge of making our own Creu Celta into something special.
Join us this January in welcoming back our good friend José Puig to sample his wines and Creu Celta including the new 2009 vintage.
