Description

Vins Auvigue is a small domaine run by highly respected winemakers Jean-Pierre and Michel Auvigue in Pouilly-Fuissé in Burgundy. The family have been working their vineyard below the hill of Solutre for generations and the grapes come from the family estates or are ones that are carefully selected from the best areas of the Pouilly-Fuissé, St Veran and Macon appellations. Jean-Pierre and Michel believe in adapting the vinification process to suit the grapes coming from each piece of land in order that the climates of Les Crays, La Frairie and Les Chailloux are allowed to give their best.

Chalky soils give this Pouilly-Fuissé  ‘Les Crays’ its character. It expresses delicate floral aromas with hints of undergrowth and citrus fruit.

Serve at 12° C with shellfish, grilled fish, white meats or goat cheese.
