Henri Abelé is one of Champagne’s oldest Houses founded in 1757.
Champange from this House was served onboard the Titanic which left Belfast on the 2nd April 1912. Interestedly, marine archaeologists have recovered over 7000 artefacts from the wreckage of the ship including a bottle of Henri Abelé Champagne.
60% Chardonnay
40% Pinot Noir
The excellent 2012 vintage led to a naturally balanced, elegant and fresh cuvée.
Complex with lively effervescence. The aroma shows green apple, lime and grapefruit. On the palate the fruit shines through along with a touch of spice and saline. The finish is long and delicate.
A delight for Champagne fans!
