2 bottles each of:
Ostatu Blanco, Rioja, Spain
Citrus, green apple & pear with floral and slightly herbal notes, this is a very fine expression of the variety. Great balance of flavours where green apple and lemon, ripened greengage plum and white flowers predominate.
Saladini Pilastri Falerio, Marche, Italy
“Almost too good to be true: lively & full of fruit with more character than one has a right to expect at this price. Floral on the nose with apple & a faint herbal note the initial delicacy hides surprising body with healthy acidity..ideal with white meats or fish & pasta.” (Michael Palij MW)
Hunter’s Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough, New Zealand
“94 Points, 5 Stars. A fabulous Sauvignon; the intensity aromatic bouquet shows passionfruit, feijoa, kaffir lime & subtle musky characters, leading to a concentrated palate that is punchy & flavoursome. The wine offers terrific fruit purity and vibrancy, finishing long & delicious.” (Wine Orbit)
