Grapes: Trebbiano Toscano & Malvasia del Chianti.
Small quantity production in the best vintages only. The grapes are dried until beginning of February to intesify the sugars. Soft pressure followed by decanting of the must, lasting for about two weeks.
Antique gold colour with amber hues. A very intense, complex and persistant nose with dried fruits, vanilla, orange peel aromas and flavours, incense. On the palate it is sweet, full bodied and balanced, with a long finish.
A classic dessert wine, match with biscotti, pastry with cream and tarts. Excellent with blue cheeses, such as gorgonzola and roquefort.
