It was served onboard the Titanic which left Belfast on the 2nd April 1912. Interestedly, marine archaeologists have recovered over 7000 artefacts from the wreckage of the ship including a bottle of Henri Abelé Champagne.

40% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 25% Meunier, of which 15% reserve wines

AGING
minimum 3 years

Blended from the 3 main grapes varieties, Abelé 1757 Brut encapsulates the signature House style Its complex aromatic profile will satisfy any Champagne-lover.

Subtle and delicate, the bouquet releases delicious pastry notes of fresh butter and brioche, together with powerful, yet delicate, fruity aromas of white peach and ripe pear Aromas of sweet spices, notably cardamom and cumin, impart greater depth to the deliciously complex, multi-layered bouquet.

Instantly approachable, Abelé Brut would make a fine addition to every classic Champagne occasion; a great aperitif, it also marries well with food, especially seafood, including fish and shellfish, and farm delicacies such as rabbit, duck and free-range chicken.
